The cast and crew of And Just Like That… have reacted after news that the show, currently in its third season, will be coming to an end.
ICYMI, the Sex and The City revival is confirmed to wrap up its run after the two-part season three finale, with showrunner, writer and director Michael Patrick King saying on social media that it felt like “a wonderful place to stop”.
The show will conclude after the extended third season, which just aired its tenth episode and will air two more before bidding farewell to Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) and the rest of the gang.

“I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season,” King told wrote.
“It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”
Per Deadline, there was no reason behind the show’s cancellation beyond it reaching its natural conclusion, with fans having completed their catch up with Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) during And Just Like That…’s modern revival some 18 years after the original Sex and The City concluded back in 2004.
Reacting to the news, Parker shared a montage of Carrie’s best moments on Instagram, complete with the familiar narration we’ve come to love from NYC’s most famous columnist.
“Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,” Parker said.
“The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt.”

The actress went on to describe working on the show as “all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work”, adding that she “hope[s] you love these final two episodes as much as we do”.
For her part, Nixon re-shared Parker’s post on her Instagram Stories with the caption “I could watch this again and again”.
“Thank you … for the quarter century of memories and friendships,” she added.
Fellow Sex and The City OG Davis likewise reflected on the show on social media, saying she was “profoundly sad” about its conclusion and thanking “our loyal fans”.
“We love you forever and ever,” Davis wrote.
It brings to an end a series that has spawned almost too many headlines to count, from the much-anticipated return of Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones to the bombshell exit of Sara Ramirez, who portrayed Che in the reboot.

The final two episodes of And Just Like That… will air on August 7 and August 14, so there’s still some time for you to revel in Carrie’s annoying yet endearing antics before she officially bids adieu.
