And it was all going so well ... Barack Obama slips up on the Jay Leno show

Barack Obama went on NBC's Tonight with Jay Leno show yesterday in an attempt to lift the national mood and explain his economic rescue plans. He hit the spot with his comments about Wall Street bonuses, but disappointed viewers when he dropped his guard and made an ill-judged reference to the Special Olympics. The clips are all over YouTube, but you can see the full show on CNBC tonight at 11pm (repeated on Saturday and Sunday at 10pm). CNBC is on Sky (channel 505), Virgin (613) and Tiscali TV (510).
