I am very sorry to be missing the rest of this fascinating general election campaign, but a family holiday takes me away today to Los Angeles. So there is very little chance of me blogging until at least 9 May, when the post-poll haggling will surely have started.
And, yes, I will be voting. My wife and I have filled in the necessary forms to vote by proxy through a trustworthy neighbour. What an outdated process it is in these digital days.
Meanwhile, ‘election media watch’ will continue in the capable hands of John Plunkett.
