Anatomy of a Play: Blidi Wreh-Wilson ends the Panthers threat

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has played solid football this season as a new starting quarterback. However, he made a decision and throw at the end of Thursday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons that in hindsight was rather curious. The Panthers trailed by eight with just over a minute remaining, and facing a 3rd and 6 in Atlanta territory Bridgewater took a chance in the vertical passing game, forgoing some better options available to him.

It did not end well.
