Ananya Panday recently opened up about the bond that her father Chunky Panday shared with Bappi Lahiri. The actress also revealed that the actor credits the singer-composer for his career.
In a recent interview with a news portal, Ananya said that her dad always credits Bappi Da for giving him his career because he has composed the actor’s iconic songs, be it ‘Laal Dupatte Wali’ or ‘Tutak Tutak’. Ananya added that her father has fond memories of the iconic musician, and they will all miss him. But his music will live forever.
Chunky had shared several throwback pictures with the late singer on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday. In the first photo featuring Bappi, Chunky wrote, "Thank you for the music my dearest, dada." Sharing a black and white photo of the duo, the actor wrote, "Will miss you Bappi da, RIP."

The actor also shared a video that featured various throwback pictures of Bappi and him from their earlier days. He captioned it. ‘I will miss you so much, my Dearest Bappi Da 💔 . Your Music will live with us Forever and ever. Thank you for making all our lives so melodious.’
