Ananya Panday recently graced Arbaaz Khan’s chat show where she opened up about receiving mean comments on social media. The actress also reacted to being called, ‘struggling didi’.
In the show, Arbaaz showed her how someone had written that Ananya Panday's accent made their ears bleed. Ananya apologised to him and said, “I am so sorry, main aapke liye tissue bhejti hu”. The actress also reacted to a comment that called her, ‘struggling didi ki jai ho. She said, “Haan mujhe struggling didi kyu bulate ho? It's really funny.”
Ananya Panday made her big Bollywood debut with ‘Student Of The Year 2’ along with Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
The actress later collaborated with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar for the official remake of classic film, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. However, the audience and critics were not much impressed with the film.
Later, Ananya teamed up with Ishaan Khatter for ‘Khaali Peeli’ which was released on an OTT platform last year. The film also received mixed responses from the audiences.
Next, she is all geared up for her next with Shakun Batra of ‘Kapoor and Sons’ fame. The untitled film will also star Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. This is the first time the actors will be seen sharing the screen space for a film.
Apart from this, Ananya is also a part of the upcoming pan-India film, ‘Liger’ which also stars South superstar Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
