Ananya Panday is not nervous about NCB summons; actress cooperating with the agency: Source

On Thursday, Narcotics Control Bureau officials visited Ananya Panday's home to summon her to the NCB office for questioning in connection to the drugs case under which Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha have been remanded into judicial custody. The actress went in for questioning yesterday and was again called down for further investigation today as well. She had apparently been summoned over her chats with Aryan.

Rumours were rife that Ananya has been quite distraught by the developments and that her work is suffering as a result. However, a source close to the family reveals that such reports are completely false. "It is just a part of the protocol; the NCB came home, only handed over the papers, and left. She is certainly not nervous about the summons. In fact, she just completed her work commitments before she left for the NCB office. Why are people making it out to be a big issue?" wondered the source.

Ananya is expected to shoot a song for her upcoming film and will be doing so soon. The source further added, "She is cooperating with the agency and answering all the queries asked by the NCB".

Ananya, who made her debut with 'Student of the Year 2' currently has two films on the floors--one with South superstar Vijay Deverkonda titled 'Liger', second film with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, directed by Shakun Batra.
