Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has praised Operation Safed Sagar , saying the series reminded him of the courage and sacrifices of India’s armed forces during the Kargil conflict. In a lengthy post on X that has received nearly three lakh views, Mahindra explained why he recommended watching the series over the weekend and highlighted aspects of the Indian Air Force's campaign that he said were previously unfamiliar to him.
Mahindra thanked the makers and Netflix for commissioning the series, saying he was moved and inspired by its story and emotional portrayal. He also defended the production against criticism of its Computer-Generated Imagery and performances, saying he found the actors competent and credible.
