Analyzing Titans’ snap counts from Week 15 loss to Texans

Entering their Week 15 contest versus the Houston Texans, the Tennessee Titans once again had some starter to replace.

The Titans were without cornerback Kristian Fulton and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons for a second straight game, but Tennessee also had to replace defensive lineman Teair Tart, who the team waived on Saturday.

So, how did the Titans replace those players?

We take a look at that and other notable things from the Titans’ Week 15 snap counts.

-Despite some questions about his status as the starter, right guard Daniel Brunskill played all but seven snaps. The veteran guard has been battling injury recently, so that was likely the reason he didn’t play every snap.

-Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears split snaps evenly, but Spears should’ve gotten more considering the struggles Henry had behind another putrid performance from the offensive line.

-Treylon Burks finished with the second-most snaps at wide receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins. Burks had one of his best games of the season, also.

-Tre Avery once again filled the void left by Kristian Fulton’s injury. Eric Garror saw increased snaps with Sean Murphy-Bunting exiting early due to injury.

-With no Jeffery Simmons and Teair Tart, both Marlon Davidson and Jaleel Johnson saw a season-high number of snaps. New Titans Quinton Bohanna and Keondre Coburn played 17 and 23 snaps, respectively, in their debuts.

-Luke Gifford played a snap on defense for just the third time this season.
