The Indianapolis Colts (2-4) got back in the win column with a 31-3 rout over the Houston Texans (1-5) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
It was a much-needed domination to show that they can still beat up on bad teams even if they have been a struggling unit themselves. Now, we’ll take a look at the snap counts on offense, defense and special teams from the Week 6 win.
Offense
Notes
- As WR T.Y. Hilton made his return, he played on 50% of the snaps. Even so, he led the way with four targets and 80 receiving yards. Michael Pittman Jr. still led the room in snaps but only saw three targets.
- With WR Parris Campbell suffering a foot injury, Ashton Dulin saw a few more snaps as the WR4 in the rotation.
- Matt Pryor is the clear right tackle as this is the second week in a row he’s logged 100% of the snaps in Braden Smith’s absence.
- RB Jonathan Taylor saw a season-high 65% of the snaps.
Defense & Special Teams
Notes
- The typical rotation was back in play at defensive end with Al-Quadin Muhammad and Tyquan Lewis seeing most of the reps followed closely by rookie Kwity Paye, who made his return from a hamstring injury.
- CB Rock Ya-Sin made his return but re-aggravated an ankle injury and was replaced by Isaiah Rodgers.
- After a week of being limited, S Khari Willis was back to playing his typical snap count.
