Classy and refined, Rafa Benitez has left Newcastle United firmly in the hearts of fans.
His short statement on Monday morning was a thank you to the fans, players and staff who formed part of his team over the last three years, but also contained an important claim of lack of ambition thrown at Mike Ashley .
It was something that many knew was on the horizon, and when the claim landed, no one was surprised to see Benitez's words.
