An outdoor Christmas cinema is coming to Pontypridd as part of the festive lights switch-on

Pontypridd will host an outdoor cinema as part of the town's Christmas light switch-on this festive season.

Organised by Dark Skies Cinema, Quite Scary Productions Ltd and Pontypridd Town Council, the event will form a part of the annual Christmas lights ceremony and fireworks in Pontypridd Town Centre.

To get all ages into the Christmas spirit, Arthur Christmas will be aired.

Set on Christmas night, the film works to tell the story of Arthur Claus - the son of Father Christmas.

His character is both clumsy but good-hearted and the film sees him set on a mission after he learns that Santa's high-tech ship left one girl without a present.
