The official Friends recipe book has been announced, sixteen years on from the day Rachel’s wedding dress graced Central Perk café.
The Evening Standard cannot guarantee the quality of the cuisine, considering that there was only one chef in Friends and she happens to be fictional. But chances are, it will go down exceptionally well as a token of friendship.
What’s inside?
Written by Amanda Yee at Barnes & Noble, Friends: The Official Cookbook, contains everything from appetisers, to desserts, to drinks. That means, for better or worse (Rachel's meat trifle is included), you can build your entire meal out of comedy gold.
The recipes range from expert to beginner, so “whether you’re a seasoned chef like Monica Geller, just starting a catering business like Phoebe Buffay, or a regular old food enthusiast like Joey Tribbiani,” the author assures it will suit your needs.
