An off-road biker causing a lockdown nuisance in Salford turned out to be a convicted killer. He's back behind bars

A convicted killer has been jailed for the dangerous driving of an off-road motorbike in Salford.

Bradley Walsh 36, of Goodiers Drive, Salford, admitted one count of each of the following: dangerous driving; driving whilst disqualified; failing to stop; and having no insurance.

At Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday he was given a sentence of 26 weeks.

In 2004 he was jailed for eight and a half years for manslaughter and robbery.

Police were called to reports at around 5.25pm on Sunday, May 3, of an off-road bike causing danger to drivers and pedestrians on Littleton Road in Kersal.

Officers attended and later arrested Walsh man on suspicion of dangerous driving.

Walsh was 19 when he was one of four men involved in a robbery at a pub in Monton, Eccles.

Landlord, Len Tague, was savagely beaten with a wooden stave during the robbery at The Park Hotel.

The robbers fled with £1,300 but left the money behind when they abandoned a get away car in panic.

Walsh, with an accomplice, who was sentenced to ten years jail, bludgeoned Mr Tague repeatedly. He died the next day.

Walsh was one of four men who took part in the robbery. In total they received sentences of 31 years.

In 2013 Walsh was jailed after being was caught in possession of 990g of 83 per cent purity cocaine – with a street value of £160,000.

At the time he was was jailed for seven years and two months after pleading guilty to possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
