An Ode to … Captain Penk

Code Blue

Captain Penk gathers the 46 riders of the First Tory Hussars.

He cuts a dashing figure in his fine silk quilted jacket.

“King Lux has led us into the badlands,” proclaims Penk.

The Hussars rattle their shields in agreement.

“It is time to reclaim our honour and our rizz,” shouts Penk.

The Hussars cheer in concurrence.

“I offer myself to you as the New King!

Up the Hussars! Victory or death!,” bellows Penk.

The Hussars roar in one voice.

Captain Penk strikes his whip on the rear of his battle steed Titanic

And charges off towards the Royal Palace of King Lux.

But before he has galloped twenty yards

He promptly plummets into a well camouflaged man trap.

The Palace Coup is over.

Where are the 46 riders of the First Tory Hussars?

There is not a whisper; the Hussars have slipped away

Like ghosts into the woods, leaving behind nothing

But a floating white feather from the quilted silk jacket

Of the unfortunate Captain Penk.
