An Indianapolis hotel unfurled an enormous 47,000-square foot NCAA Tournament bracket

With the men’s NCAA tournament taking place in Indianapolis — and ONLY in Indianapolis — that means we’ll see hoops at Lucas Oil Stadium, Hinkle Fieldhouse, Bankers Life Fieldhouse and more.

It also mean Indy is going to be the center of the college hoops world for a few weeks, which explains why the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis now has a record-breaking March Madness bracket plastered on its windows.

This thing is 47,000 square feet, and — per The Indianapolis Star — broke a record set in Indy back in 2015: “He added the words ‘Indiana. Where Champions Are Crowned’ across the top of the bracket, which made the bracket — which had set a Guinness World Record for the largest bracket in 2015 — 15 to 20 feet taller.”

Look at this thing!!

This took a “a hundred hours of printing,” which makes sense. Hopefully it won’t take that long to update it each day of the tourney.
