Bank holiday Monday is expected to be a warm but cloudy day across the North East.
According to the Met Office, Monday will be generally cloudy and dry for most. There will be the possibility of some sunny spells, particularly later in the day, and the odd light shower. It is predicted to be warm with a maximum temperature of 22 °C.
Forecasters believe there will be sunshine and clear spells for most of Tuesday. However it will feel cooler near the coast. The skies will turn cloudy later in the afternoon and there will be the possibility of an isolated light shower.
