Join legendary producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Mo Pleasure for an unmissable masterclass in songwriting and music production. Mo has recorded and performed with some of the most influential artists of all time: he’s played bass with Ray Charles, keyboards for Michael Jackson, and worked as bassist and musical director of genre-busting funk band Earth, Wind & Fire.

This masterclass offers a rare opportunity to learn from a leading figure in the history of music, and receive live feedback on your own songs. The first half of the evening invites you behind the usually closed doors of Mo’s creative studio. After learning about his musical career and influences, you’ll watch a live performance, where Mo reveals how to transform an acoustic demo into a high-quality song. He’ll demo some of the tracks he worked on with Michael Jackson, and show you how to use instruments and technology to bring out the magic in music.

The second half of the evening is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to receive positive and constructive feedback on your own songs. Attendees are invited to send in their demos ahead of the course, ten of which will be critiqued live on stage by Mo. One lucky person will even have their song selected for a live demo, where Mo will work with the artist to transform an acoustic demo into a slick musical production, on stage. Altogether, it’s an unmissable opportunity to learn from one of the most talented and passionate musicians in the business.
