An 'epic' new Tough Runner 10k challenge is coming to Ashton Court

A brand new 'epic' challenge for Bristol's runners is set to sweep Bristol's Ashton Court Estate later this year.

The clue is in the name - Tough Runner's Bristol Epic 10k prides itself on being exceptionally more difficult than your average 10k run, and the Ashton Court route promises a series of hills which will truly put your lung capacity to the test.

Tracing a challenging path across the historic estate the event, set to take place on October 26, couldn't be more different from the near-flat city centre route enjoyed by participants setting out on the Bristol 10k and half marathon routes.

With space for more than 1,000 runners, the challenge - which is described as 'one of the most exciting 10ks in England' - is not one to miss for keen trail athletes and newcomers alike.

A brand new race to Bristol, the 'Epic' trail takes place in only a handful of locations around the UK at present, meaning it's sure to be a popular experience for keen runners looking to take earn themselves a new medal.

Entry to the race is open now, with tickets available for £30 - or £24 in the flash sale if you enter before 11.59pm this evening (June, 17).
