‘An awful monster’: It’s safe to say Joe Biden’s cancer hasn’t changed the left’s mind about him

Joe Biden won’t be around for much longer. Yesterday, we learned that the former president has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer which has spread to the bone.

The announcement revealed that, on the Gleason score, which measures on a 1-10 scale how aggressive cancer cells are, Biden’s cancer is a nine. He and his family are now considering their options, though there will be few good ones. Tributes and well-wishes flooded in from Washington, including one from Donald Trump (or at least one of his staff), who posted on TruthSocial that “we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”

But, for many, Biden’s cancer doesn’t mean they’re about to go easy on him. Over on the right, Laura Loomer insisted that she still nurses a dream of him being behind bars. And on the left? Well, bombs continue to rain down on starving Palestinians, a situation that Biden did little (if anything) to prevent. So let’s just say sympathy is… limited:

Popular streamer Hasan Piker didn’t mince words, saying Biden is “an awful monster, prostate cancer doesn’t change that”:

Other anti-genocide accounts followed suit, indicating there’s going to be little forgiveness for Biden in the coming months:

Another pointed out that “this dude killed so many of my family members” that “he deserves worse than this”:

And it was pointed out that the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Palestine has now shut down Gaza’s last cancer hospital, meaning that 10,000 patients there will now no longer be receiving treatment:

So it’s safe to say that even after the revelation he’s suffering from a painful and likely terminal disease the knives are still out. Biden is despised by the right, hated by the left, and even decorum-poisoned centrists aren’t happy with him for remaining in the 2024 presidential race long after it was clear he wasn’t mentally or physically able to get through another four-year term.

Biden’s presidential legacy is going to make for grim reading: aiding and abetting a genocide, overseeing inflation, and paving the way for Trump and his cronies to effortlessly waltz back into the White House. Now he’s on the way out, leaving us with the grim specter of the Trump administration orchestrating his state funeral. Expect more drama over the coming weeks.
