An awful Jazz-Nuggets Game 1 sequence was hilariously described as ‘L.A. Fitness at 3 o’clock’

Donovan Mitchell and Nikola Jokic had some highlights in their NBA Game 1 playoff matchup as the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz played their first postseason game in the bubble.

But one sequence in the second quarter? Not so much. It was some awful back-and-forth basketball.

There was a missed play at the hoop by Jordan Clarkson, a Paul Millsap turnover, a blown reverse by Mitchell. a Jerami Grant airball, a sloppy Mitchell pass for a turnover, and a failed alley-oop finish from Michael Porter Jr., all in one non-stop sequence.

That led to this gem from ESPN’s Mark Jones: “It’s looking like LA Fitness at 3 o’clock right now.”

And he’s right!
