An awesome bat toss after a HR led Royals, White Sox to fight over lame unwritten rules

The Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox had a bit of a scuffle during Wedneday’s game because someone had a little too much fun after a home run, which of course is not allowed under baseball’s lame and dated unwritten rules.

It all happened because Chicago’s shortstop Tim Anderson tossed his bat in celebration after crushing a home run off Kansas City right-hander Brad Keller.

Anderson, who has been on a tear so far this season, then came up to the plate again in the sixth inning and of course Keller had to throw at him because how dare Anderson have fun celebrating a home run.

Baseball’s unwritten rules continue to be stupid and this moment has been submitted to the file against said unwritten rules.

Oh, and Anderson got ejected for this, which is even more ridiculous.

Be better, MLB.
