An Arkansas player fired off a perfect football snap for a wild no-look assist

On the hardwood, a Patriot League-SEC matchup might not be too big of a mismatch, so it made sense for Arkansas to resort to football tactics when it was trailing an upset-minded Colgate team in the first round of the Men’s NCAA Tournament.

Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but after a loose ball scramble, Razorbacks guard Davonte Davis found himself with the ball and he had his teammate J.D. Notae directly behind him, wide-open at the 3-point line.

So, naturally, Davis fired the ball between his legs like a center snapping the ball to a quarterback, hitting Notae to set up a wide-open shot from beyond the arc.

After falling behind early, Arkansas turned up the pressure to help spark a run. If they continue throwing passes like that, third-seeded Razorbacks will advance.
