There are few things more pure and good in sports than a young fan picking a favorite player. They’ll get their jersey and then probably talk about that athlete non-stop. That person is their hero, and it’s the most adorable thing to witness.
At the moment, with Justin Fields, the Bears have a promising and exciting quarterback of the future. He’s a quarterback that could eventually not only win them a lot of games but, with kindness, win over a lot of young fans for life. That seemed to be exactly what happened on Friday after Bears camp practice.
Chicago set up a table for fans to come and meet Fields. He gave out autographs, chatted them up, and even took photos. One young fan in particular — who was wearing a full football uniform with a No. 1 Fields jersey — could not stop telling his head-banded hero how much he appreciated him:

Oh, man. Is someone cutting onions, or am I simply reacting to cuteness overload? That is one special moment with a hopeful Bears star that young man will certainly never forget.
