'An absolute scandal' Leeds United fans furious with decision against Brentford

Leeds United are back in the limelight and know what they have to do after seeing promotion rivals Sheffield United sweep aside Hull City earlier in the day.

Anything less than a victory would leave Marcelo Bielsa's side on the brink of conceding automatic promotion to the Blades, raising the pressure ahead of a testing end to the season.

The Peacocks came flying out of the blocks against Brentford and looked to have a stonewall penalty when Patrick Bamford was felled inside the area - but bizarrely referee Keith Stroud waved away the protests.

It was an incredible decision and, naturally, fans were furious and it didn't take long for social media to be flooded with complaints, as some suggested it's further evidence of bias from the EFL.

With Neal Maupay firing the hosts ahead just before the half-time break, the decision could prove to be hugely costly for Bielsa's side.
