She captioned the snap: “Just a modern day milking mama.”

Some of her 354,000 followers praised the model and TV presenter for normalising breastfeeding.

But the former Miss Universe Great Britain was hit with a wave of comments slamming her for her “irresponsible” post.

Some offered advice, like one follower who said: “Not meaning to preach but please be careful wearing the waist trainer so soon after birth I'm sure your supposed to wait a couple of months as organs etc are just moving back into place.”

Another commented: “I would still think that you shouldn’t wear one till after your 6 week check. Your body is trying to adjust back and squishing it can’t be healthy.

“Loosing weight will not be due to waist training. I lost loads and that was due to breastfeeding.”

A third pleaded: “Please remove the waist band, you’re supposed to wait to let everything settle before wearing one.”

And this follower commented: “I do not understand why you would want a waist trainer so soon after giving birth, please allow your body to heal properly.”

Meanwhile others had stronger opinions on the picture.

The post comes after Amy revealed she was mugged hours before going into labour with her baby girl.
