Amy Schumer shares picture of herself getting embryos frozen in hospital amid IVF journey

Amy Schumer is taking her fans every step of the way as she goes through IVF and has now shared another update from her hospital bed.

The comedian, 38, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a picture of herself getting embryos frozen as she tries to conceive her second child.

Her post follows another photo she'd shared earlier this week in which she revealed her bruised stomach while she got her eggs frozen.

In today's post Amy revealed that she is trying to be "patient" and feels "lucky" that her followers had been sharing advice from their own IVF journeys with her.

Her photo showed her laying down next to an ultrasound machine as she underwent the procedure.

She was wearing a big pair of sunglasses, red socks and a black t-shirt with a skull on the front.

Amy had a green towel placed over he lap and had a bandage on her arm as she posed for the picture.

She captioned the image: "Thank you ladies and a few gentlemen. We are gonna freeze embryos hopefully.

"I learned to eat salty food after and drink Gatorade. Ice the area. Take arnica and put arnica on the bruises.

"To be patient and kind to myself and that there are sooooo many of us willing to be there for each other.

"Your stories helped me more than you can imagine. I feel incredibly lucky. I'm really hoping this works and staying positive. Much much love!"

Amy, who gave birth eight months ago to son Gene, is looking to grow her family with husband Chris Fischer.

Now, she's decided to undergo IVF after a tough first pregnancy.

She shared a photo of her bruised stomach, penning a heartfelt message about how the treatment is affecting her mood and urging fans to reach out if they've had similar experiences.
