Amy Schumer has revealed she is having IVF and has shared her personal number on Instagram in a bid for support and advice.
Schumer, 38, posted a shot of her stomach to her 9.5 million followers and described how she was feeling "really run down and emotional."
"I’m a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional. If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn’t mind sharing your experience with me please do. My number is in my bio. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling" she wrote.
Schumer gave birth to her son Gene in May with husband Chris Fischer.
During the pregnancy Schumer detailed her struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme morning sickness) which meant she was forced to cancel the remainder of her comedy tour.
She also jokingly called Meghan Markle her pregnancy "nemesis" - "You know who it's not fun to be pregnant at the same time as? Meghan Markle!" she said during a Las Vegas show, "She's walking around in heels and cradling her baby that's not even there, and I'm barely wearing underwear."
On Wednesday night, following news that Meghan and Harry would be stepping down from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family, Schumer jokingly posted a shot of herself in a wheelchair with her dog, writing "Chris and I are formally stepping down from our royal duties. We appreciate your support."
