Singer Amy Macdonald has told how she was left “petrified” after getting behind the wheel of a £2million supercar – on the “wrong” side of the road.
The pop star from Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, was flown over to France to go for a spin in a Bugatti Veyron after she revealed on the BBC’s Top Gear that it was her dream car.
Amy, 32, recalled how the boss of Bugatti handed her the keys to a Veyron Super Sport and, as they got in the car, “he was happily telling me that this car costs £2million”.
She told the Fuelling Around podcast: “I was trying to tell the boss that I had never driven on the other side of the road before but he couldn’t understand my accent, so just smiled at me.”
