Amy Macdonald admits she 'feels weird' talking about TRNSMT and King Tuts gigs

This Is The Life and Slow It Down singer Amy Macdonald admits she is finding it hard to accept that gigs are actually going ahead after lockdown.

The singer confirmed she will be playing a special warm up show at King Tuts on September 11 ahead of her TRNSMT gig the next day.

And she told of the weird feeling she has actually talking about gigs after being unable to play them for the last year and a half.

Amy said: "I have just been doing an hour of phone interviews and they were all fine, just talking about this TRNSMT gig and also the little sneaky King Tuts gig the day before.

"It feels really weird to be talking about gigs and I feel somebody is going to go 'We are only kidding. It's not happening'.

She added: "But I think it is happening, so my band get up this weekeng and then we have got a hell of a lot of rehearsals to do."

We've got a festival in Switzerland, a King Tuts gig, TRNSMT, a festival in Germany and it feels like we are finally back to normal.

"It cant be true. It cant be true.

"Its true, It's really happening."
