Amy Hart worries fans as she wanders down dual carriageway alone in the dark

Love Island star Amy Hart sparked concern among her fans after revealing that she had walked home alone in the dark alongside a dual carriageway after a night out.

The 28-year-old television star had been enjoying a Magic Mike performance in London but faced disaster when she tried to get home.

Although she did take the train to Angmering, she couldn't find a taxi for the final leg of her journey so decided to walk home in the dark.

Not only did she underestimate how muddy the trip would be, but the blonde bombshell was also forced to walk along the edge of a dual carriageway to get home.

Fans were even more concerned when she revealed that she had then bagged herself a lift with two strangers who dropped her home.

"I'm walking home. I got the train back to Angmering. All my family are obviously p***ed..." she explained on her Instagram.

"No taxis at Angmering. I phoned Angmering Taxis I was on hold until they cut off. So now I'm walking along the side of the dual carriageway. My feet are wet because it's this or walk through the park. Oh my God."

She then revealed: "I'm home. I didn't realise how muddy it was."

Amy then held up a pair of Gucci heels that had been completely destroyed by the mud.

"This is currently my shoes but a lovely couple, Charlotte and her husband saw me walking alongside the dual carriageway so they stopped and were like you need to get into the car with us.

She added: "We've got two children, two baby seats in the back. We're not a weird couple. And they dropped me home. I think I definitely need a new pair of shoes."

Waking up from her boozy evening, Amy then revealed she had considered deleting her Instagram story but instead wanted to use it as a warning for others to be careful about their drunken behaviour.

"If anyone can learn from me that when you're drunk you make really, really bad calls, I shouldn't have walked alongside a dual carriageway."

She also added that people should not hesitate about calling their friends.

Despite reassuring her fans, it didn't stop several followers from warning her of the dangers of what she had got up to.

"Sorry but I agree that was a very stupid thing to do, you were extremely lucky. Plan the end of your evening and always book your taxi in advance x," warned one follower.

Another added: "Not a good role model for young ladies. Never walk home alone or get in a strangers car."

A third added: "At least Amy has raised the subject to reiterate parents warnings to kids everywhere! Glad you’re safe hopefully lesson learned."
