Amy Hart 'still in therapy after Curtis Pritchard's cruel Love Island dumping'

Amy Hart is reportedly still having therapy to help her come to terms with how she was dumped on Love Island, nine months ago.

The 27-year-old former air hostess thought she had found love with professional dancer Curtis Pritchard, 24, but he sensationally finished with her in one of the most humiliating moments ever in the ITV2 show.

Amy was set to open up to her villa partner for her love for him only for Curtis to turn his attentions to newcomer Maura Higgins, who he eventually looked to form a relationship with outside the villa.

Speaking to The Sun, Amy says she has no hard feelings towards 29-year-old Maura, after she finished with Curtis amid rumours of her growing close to Dancing On Ice partner Alexander Demetriou.

Addressing Curtis and Maura's current plight, she said she "genuinely hope they’re both alright" before admitting that the nature of her break-up with Curtis "has been hard."

Amy revealed: "I’ve been out of Love Island for nine months and it has been hard. I’m still having therapy."

She went on to say that her departure 'wasn't scripted' and her reaction and decision to leave the villa was "me being me."

After that fateful moment, Amy said it was "hard and to come out and realise overnight everything had changed."

She found that she had become a victim of "nasty trolling" and that she couldn't "help but bite back."

Tellingly, Amy admitted: "People preach about being kind but they’re anything but."

The Love Islander has turned to E4's Celebs Go Dating to see if that would open up a path to a new lover.

She hit it off with 32-year-old IT account manager Kurt McKenna but now regrets having a drunken romp with him, after deciding to go back home with him.

Amy admitted she had "drunk so much wine" but revealed that she felt compelled "to talk about it because they knew what had happened."

She feels that "I could have got away without saying we’d slept together I would have done."

*The final episode of Celebs Go Dating airs tomorrow on E4 at 9pm.
