Amy Duggar hits back at ultra-Christian family after interview about Duggars was taken down

Amy Duggar has hit out at her ultra-Christian family after an interview she gave was swiftly taken down.

The American mum-of-one had been interviewed by YouTuber Katie Joy, who revealed "someone" forced her to remove it straight away.

Amy has responded with a thinly-veiled dig at her family, writing on Twitter : "I've said it once, I'll say it again...

"A woman's voice should never be silenced."

Katie stated nothing derogatory was said about Amy's reality-famous family during the interview.

Yet an unnamed person forced her to remove it from her channel, Without A Crystal Ball, straight away.

In another video, she explained: "I had the chance to speak with Amy Duggar King. x

"While this video was premiering, I received a message from Amy that someone wanted the video down. Someone.

"When I found out shortly after this video went live and while it was premiering that this video would need to come down, I was shocked. Nothing was said negatively at all about this family.”

Katie and Amy then had a second interview, where she did not discuss her family, who rose to fame on 19 Kids and Counting.

Instead, she reiterated her comment on Twitter, saying: "Cheers to women never being silenced.

"I think God gave us a voice for a reason. All of us have an opinion and it's all worth something."

Katie agreed that it was sad when women's voices were taken away, and Amy added: "I don't know how to be that person, I will never be that person."

She also revealed she "grew up in a house with a lot of yelling", but now she only lives with her husband Dillon King and their baby son Daxton, and their home is "full of love".

The conservative Duggar family clashed with Amy, who is Jim Bob Duggar's niece, as she was outspoken, did not have children straight after getting married, and posted selfies in bikinis and showing cleavage.
