Amway Coaches Poll mostly unchanged after sleepy week 10

Week 10 in college football was kind of like a nap before a big night out

College football is getting ready to paint the town red and had to take a little snooze to get prepared. Because of that, and because many of the top-ranked teams were on a bye this week, there is little change to the Amway Coaches Poll, which is powered by USA TODAY.

The poll remains the same 1-5 with Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State and Penn State remaining in that order. Former No. 6 Florida fell a bit, but they lost to Georgia, former No. 7. Georgia is the new No. 6. After that, former No. 14 SMU fell after suffering their first loss of the season.

Then, not much significant change aside from some shuffling in the 20s. It’s all coming down to this weekend.

In the Big Ten, Minnesota is the next highest-ranked team at No. 13. Michigan (No. 14), Wisconsin (No. 16) and Iowa (No. 18) close out the Big Ten teams in the poll.

Indiana is second in “others receiving votes” and that’s a damn shame. They should be ranked.
