It looks like we're close to finally seeing one of the more highly-anticipating British fights as Amir Khan and Kell Brook are both claimed to have signed a contract agreeing to the bout.
The two have gone back and forth over a potential fight for a number of years during their storied careers, but have never reached an agreement.
According to recent reports, the two had provisionally agreed to fight on December 4. However, that date was pushed back with talks having reportedly broken down.
This week Brook revealed he has finally signed a contract to face Khan in "the biggest fight in British boxing."
When and where will the fight happen?
An official announcement is expected within the next few days, with the fight set to take place at Manchester Arena next year, according to the Mirror.
How to watch?
The fight is highly expected to be shown on Sky Sports Box Office.
The set price will likely be around £24.95 - similar to what both Sky Sports and BT Sports have set the price at of recent bouts.
You'll be able to watch on your television, laptop or mobile device.
What has Kell Brook said?
Speaking to IFL TV, he said: "I need a big massive fight to get my teeth into.
"And the fight we all want to see is the guy from Bolton. I've signed my part of the fight. He just needs to come forward and sign his part and we've got the biggest fight in British boxing.
"We've signed our bit, we're doing what we're doing. Listen, we don't need to hide about it, everybody knows there are whispers. Everybody knows this fight needs to happen.
"I've not been in front of a camera. He's been saying he wants it. I've done my thing, let's see if he does his, and we've got the biggest fight in British boxing."
Speaking to Sky Sports, Brook added: "All I would do to get rid of him is turn up on that day and I just knock him out. And he will get knocked out. He knows that."
What has Amir Khan said?
Khan said: "Everyone wants to see the Kell Brook fight. We’ve been talking about it for years and years.
"Look, me and Kell are probably past our best, I’ll be honest. But at the same time, we’re both around the same age. I think it’d be a good fight between us to see still who the number one is in Britain."
Khan concluded by admitting only Brook and the legendary Manny Pacquiao interest him before he retires, and offered his prediction for the Brook bout if it happened.
He added: "The only two fights out there for me in my opinion is Kell Brook or Manny Pacquiao. Your body is breaking and you need to call it a day one day. So I am giving it the last, last chapter of my boxing career. I get either fight and I call it a day…
"The prediction for me and Kell Brook? I knock out Kell Brook in under six rounds."
