Amir Khan tells trolls he doesn't 'give a f***' after Christmas tree snap

Boxing legend Amir Khan doesn't hold back when it comes to trolls.

The former world champion has been flooded with vile abuse after he shared to his Instagram a snap of him, his wife and two kids standing in matching pyjamas in front of a Christmas tree.

"Happy holidays from mine to yours," he wrote, "Enjoy the festive season."

Unfortunately, Internet trolls hit out at Amir - a Muslim - for getting in the spirit of a Christian holiday.

He took to Twitter with some string words.

Amir penned: "So shocked by all the hate I'm getting on my Twitter & Instagram for wishing everyone Merry Christmas and posting a picture with my family in Christmas outfits.

Amir savaged the trolls after they attacked him for the snap (Instagram)

"Just want to tell those people, 'I don't give a f**k.'"

Since sharing the post, Amir's been flooded with messages of support, solidarity and kind words.

"You are allowed to celebrate Christmas as you wish," one wrote, "I hope you and your family had a lovely time."

Mo Salah has received similar trolling (Instagram)

Another said: "Merry Christmas mate. Respect to you and yours."

A third expressed admiration for Amir, writing: "This is what we seriously need! High profile speakers raising awareness. Well done x."

A fourth shared a snap of Amir, urging him: "Forget the haters. You have a heart of gold sir. Merry Christmas to all your family."

One related their own story: "I became Muslim 31 years ago and always look forward to celebrating Christmas with my large Christian family at my parents' home just as they enjoy celebrating Eid with us.

"Sharing and celebrating together is what unites us and removes the divide/hate we see in society."

Liverpool star Mo Salah has similarly been the target of sickening abuse after he shared a similar family snap in front of their tree.
