Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom have showed off the Rolex watch they bought for their toddler son as he turned one.
Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Amir and model Faryal presented Muhammad Zaviyar with the man-sized watch, which usually retails for just less than £30,000, on his first birthday.
Faryal shared photos of the proud parents with their son on his animal theme birthday surrounded by a stuffed toy tiger, giraffe and lion and green and gold balloons.
The watch in its display box took pride of place in the pictures.
Last month, taking to his Instagram Story, Amir gave followers a close-up of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona.
"Got my little boy his first birthday present," he wrote.
"His watch collection needs to be on point."
Faryal clapped back when followers had their say on the extravagant gift with one asking: "What is a 1 year supposed to do with a Rolex?"
"It’s an investment for when he’s older," she said.
Another said: " Rolex for a one year old seems a tad tacky and not needed.
"Maybe for an 18-year-old it would make a nice present but then again who wants children obsessed with designer luxury brands."
And Faryal replied: "Oh well I guess we’re tacky."
Other followers praised the gift.
"A father can give his kids Rolex it’s because he has worked day and night for his kids," said one.
"I think that’s a fantastic idea, great parents think about their kids future, plus he can one day hand it down to his family," said another.
Amir, 34, and Faryal, 29 also have daughters Lamaisah born in 2014 and Alayna who was born in 2018.
When Alayna turned one in 2019, the married couple threw a lavish £75,000 rainforest-themed party for her at the Macron Stadium in Bolton.
They reportedly forked out £100,000 for Lamaisah's second birthday party which featured Disney princesses and ballerinas at the Macron Stadium, the home of Khan's beloved Bolton Wanderers football club.
Amir and Faryal married in New York in 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
