Amir Khan has revealed that he's suffering with injuries ahead of his upcoming fight with bitter rival Kell Brook.
Bolton-born fighter Khan and Brook finally agreed to a clash and will go toe-to-toe on February 19th, with Manchester playing host to the bout.
The fight has set a box office record, after selling out at the AO Arena in just four minutes.
Khan and Brook have verbally clashed throughout their careers but, until now, a meeting hasn't been on the cards.
But just weeks away from the fight, Khan has revealed that he's been suffering in his training camp in Colorado.
Khan told Sky Sports: "We all have injuries, sportsmen and women. When you're at the elite level, we always have to overcome them pains and override them.
"Yeah I've got pains and I've got injuries when I'm in training.
"I've had to spar today and I still have to overcome them injuries, I can't think of them - I've just got to get on with them.
"My job is just to get ready for Feb 19 and obviously the aches and pains are there. As you get older - I'm 35 now - it's not like when you're 25 where you recover after a tough session.
"Now the body takes a bit of time but it's good because I know if I continue pushing myself with those pains and aches, then I'll be fine come fight night."
Khan's rivalry with Brook stems back to the 2004 Olympics in Athens, with the former winning silver and establishing the platform for his success in the years to come - and he was selected in the Team GB line-up ahead of Brook himself.
The February bout will be televised exclusively by Sky Sports and a full undercard for the fight is yet to be announced, but Team GB medal-winner Frazer Clarke will make his professional debut.
