Amir Khan and Kell Brook are set to renew their rivalry with a bout finally set to take place following talks with promoter Eddie Hearn.
The former world champions have been unable to agree a fight several times in the past but have agreed to a battle, with a date in December now eyed.
34-year-old Khan met with Hearn last week to finally make the fight happen, as he aims to 'settle the score' in the bout - which looks set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to the Sun, Hearn confirmed his desire to put on the show but admitted the fight doesn't quite carry the same gravitas as it once did.
"I would do the fight, it is still a great fight, but it is not the fight it once was," he said.
"It's an auction with two guys who want to make as much money as they can. I want to do the fight but only at the right price.
"Both guys see this as their last fight so whoever pays the most money will get the fight. DAZN has an idea of what we think the fight is worth, I think Sky would just put it on pay-per-view and that could be risky."
Khan has been out of the ring since his victory over Billy Dib in 2019, while Brook's most recent bout was a stoppage loss to Terence Crawford in November.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Bolton fighter Khan said: "I think now is the right time to make that fight happen with Kell. We both have been world champions. We're both British and in the north as well.'
Brook added: "Aside from AJ vs Tyson Fury, it is still the biggest fight in British boxing. And I still think everyone will get very excited about this fight."
