Amir Khan is being investigated by police after appearing to film himself driving around Bolton.
Footage, which has since been deleted, is believed to show the 34-year-old boxer at the wheel of his £100,000 Range Rover on Christmas Day.
He allegedly live-streamed himself for eight minutes while driving around his hometown.
A spokesman for GMP said officers are looking into the video.
In a statement, the force said: “GMP was made aware of a video on social media which appears to have been filmed whilst driving a vehicle. Police are currently investigating.”
