Amir Khan has delivered a confident message ahead of his fight with Kell Brook next year.
The two will finally face off in a grudge match in Manchester on February 19, in a fight that has been a number of years in the making.
Both Khan and Brook have called each other out at numerous points in their careers, although a meeting in the ring has evaded them up until now.
And there has been no love lost between the two since the bout was confirmed, with security having to get involved when the pair clashed at a press conference to announce the fight.
Opinion is split on how the fight could pan out, with both boxers facing each other in the twilight of their careers.
The bout is seen by many as a swansong for both, not to mention one last big pay day before they retire from the ring.
The fight has also been questioned by many within the sport, with lots of people feeling the contest is a few years past its sell-by date.
But Khan has brushed off those concerns as he prepares to finally face Brook, and is in a confident mood.
The former world champion tweeted a picture of himself out running, along with the caption: “Never underestimate the heart of a champion.”
Despite concerns over appetite for the fight, Khan’s bout with Brook has nevertheless set a box office record, with the Manchester Arena event selling out in just four minutes.
The contest has become one of the fastest-selling events in British sports history, and now stands as the biggest box office take for an indoor sports event in the UK, as well as the fastest sell-out for a UK boxing event.
