After years of peace between the fans of Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez it seems that the truce has finally fallen apart. Chronically online fans noticed that the two A-listers were no longer following each other on Instagram. This development also comes during a particularly tumultuous time for Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, and it’s led fans to come to only one conclusion.
Gomez and Bieber shocked fans as they made the decision to seemingly put their long-time feud aside back in 2023. Fans noticed the two were following each other on Instagram, which was taken as a sure sign of peace in our time. The pair have had a long history of beef thanks to Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, who dated Selena on and off from 2010 until March 2018, a mere four months before his engagement to Hailey was announced in July 2018.
We won’t go into the ins and outs of the beef, but just know that Hailey and Selena had a feud for the ages. While Selena has seemingly moved on with her life, Justin seems to be unable to move on and appreciate what he has with Hailey. But people change, people grow, and it seems that up until recently, both had put those dark days behind them and were at least somewhat okay with one another.
Has the Gomez & Bieber feud been re-ignited?
If you were to check the following list of both celebrities, you would find that they no longer follow each other. The news has been covered by many outlets already. A mutual unfollowing certainly suggests that something possibly went down between the two, you don’t unfollow somebody for nothing, right?
Neither Selena nor Hailey has addressed the situation, and reps for the stars have yet to explain the sudden unfollowing, but fans have already started theorizing. Some have speculated that one of them possibly blocked the other to make it look like a mutual unfollowing. Of course, we don’t know who out of the two would do this, or if that’s even what happened.
Online people are responding to the drama. Most of them are enjoying the show, making jokes suggesting Justin was using Hailey’s account to talk to Selena etc.

This feud has been going on for such a long time now that most are simply bored of hearing about the whole thing. Another fan simply wrote, “Lord let us be free”.
As usual, people took sides on the matter, with some assuming that Hailey instigated the drama by blocking Selena. Others claimed that the pair unfollowed each other after Selena allegedly reached out and was ignored by Hailey.

Whatever the reason for the unfollowing, it seems the goodwill that had existed between the two stars has now been shattered.
This comes after months of speculation surrounding Hailey and Justin’s marriage. For a while now, fans have been wondering if the couple is on the rocks. Justin Bieber’s strange posts about “transactional relationships” from earlier this month serve to only add fuel to the fire, as many wonder if it could all be linked.
