Amherst Elementary School in Nashua, one of the largest cities in the state of New Hampshire, has opened its doors for voters today. With approximately 50,000 registered voters in this location, it is anticipated that a significant number of people will pass through here throughout the day.
The polling location opened promptly at 6 a.m. and voters were seen eagerly walking through the doors to participate in the democratic process. Furthermore, to ensure transparency and accuracy, a dedicated team of election officials was stationed at a table in the front of the gymnasium. Throughout the day, they diligently processed the ballots and also handled any write-in votes from the voters.
Additionally, the officials planned to process absentee ballots at around 8 a.m. These absentee ballots allow voters who are unable to physically be present on Election Day to exercise their right to vote.
