Roy Keane and Mick McCarthy's infamous falling out at the 2002 World Cup has been explained to a new audience after American site SB Nation covered the row in its 'Beef History' series.
The 14-minute YouTube video explaining the 'beef' between the pair has clocked up over 150,000 views so far.
It even inspired some humorous comments from American viewers unfamiliar with the incident that divided Irish football fans 18 years ago.
Grant Mitchell said: "This conflict had lots of salt, a key preservative for long lasting beef."
Another commenter joked: "I don’t know who any of these people are but Mick McCarthy is the most Irish name I’ve ever heard."
Another reflected that the row ended as a 'nil-nil draw'.
The video kicks off by declaring Keane and McCarthy as 'Irish soccer sensations' and then explores the pair's relationship, with a focus on the claim that Keane and McCarthy had to be separated in their days as Ireland team-mates after McCarthy stepped in on a dispute between Keane and Jack Charlton.
It goes on to focus on 2002 and the Saipan incident itself before summarising Ireland's performance at the tournament - where they reached the last 16 and fell to Spain on penalties.
