West Lothian star Lewis Capaldi is no stranger to headlines thanks to his regular number one hits and hilarious Instagram, but they usually get his name right, at least.
However, the musician a bit less well known in America, which recently lead to a bit of confusion.
The West Lothian star goes by 'Lewis Calamari' on Twitter, but a US gossip page called Pop Alarms thought it was his real name, and tweeted:
"Niall Horan and Selena Gomez were reportedly together and attended Lewis Calamari’s concert yesterday, April 3."

Eagle-eyed Capaldi fans were quick to point out the mistake, saying:
"who's lewis calamari lmao, @LewisCapaldi is shaking"
And "That’s what happens when you push the joke for too long @LewisCapaldi."
Capaldi changed his Twitter and Instagram handles to Lewis Calamari as part of an ongoing joke with Radio One.
The mistake got even more attention after it was shared by a Scottish fan, Molly Walker, who said:
"Americans thinking his actual name is Calamari has SENT me."
The tweet got over 5000 retweets - though none from Lewis himself, sadly - and even more amused reactions from Capaldi fans, the majority of them writing 'hahahahaha' or 'I'M DECEASED'.
Will this be the thing that finally convinces Lewis to change his Twitter name back to @LewisCapaldi? Probably not. But he might have to get used to Americans calling him Lewis Calamari.
