An American dancer who went viral for her Irish dancing has lashed back at trolls for their racist abuse.
The Virginia-based dancer blew up on TikTok and Instagram for her Irish dancing routine to popular hip/hop tunes.
Morgan amassed almost 200,000 TikTok views on her latest video but was hit with racism from certain web trolls.
In response she posted on Twitter: "I know I shouldn’t even pay attention to the ignorant people in my mentions, but I’m only human and this stuff gets to me so I felt the need to just write this down and get my frustration out.
"There are Irish dance schools all over the world including Mexico, China and Africa.
"It has become a very widespread sport in which participants become immersed in the culture whether or not it is their own based on ethnicity.
"Irish dance has taken me all over the world. I have been to Ireland multiple times and I was met with so much love and support.
"I am good at what I do and I am proud to be a competitive Irish dancer. If that bothers you so much you are welcome to never look at another of my videos again."
And Morgan has received huge support from Irish shores including from the Embassy of Ireland in the US.
They replied to the young woman saying: "As Ireland’s Embassy to the United States, we can tell you how fortunate we feel to have such talent here devote themselves to Irish dancing.
"You are better than good at what you do. And are a credit to both our nation and yours. Lean ort!"
While a Dubliner said: "Irish guy from Dublin here and I think you're bleedin deadly (Irish slang for awesome)
"Keep being you. Keep doing whatever you love whether its Irish dance or any dance and feck the begrudgers. Block and mute people who just want to spread poison. Life's too short to let them in."
