American woman reported missing in Edinburgh believed to have travelled to Glasgow

Police have launched an appeal to trace an American woman missing from Edinburgh since before Christmas and believed to have travelled to Glasgow.

Pamela Givens left a property in Granton on December 23 and hasn’t been heard from since.

She has links with London and the US and speaks with an American accent.

The 56-year-old may be travelling by bus in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Inspector Jonny Elliot, of Drylaw police station, said: "We believe Pamela was within Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central train station in the early hours of Tuesday, 24 December, 2019.

"We also know that she sometimes travels by bus in the Edinburgh and Glasgow area. If you recall seeing Pamela after Monday 23 December, or you know her whereabouts, please contact us.”

Pamela has short black hair and a slim build, and sometimes wears a head scarf.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 using incident number 1108 of 7th January 2020.
