Doctors at the American University of Beirut Hospital have been working tirelessly to treat the victims of the recent blast that shook the city. In just two hours, nearly 200 patients were brought to the hospital, all with close contact blast injuries.
The Chief Medical Officer of the hospital reported that out of the 200 patients, 140 are still under treatment, with 30 patients currently without beds. Despite the overwhelming influx of patients, the medical staff managed to stabilize all individuals, and the injuries are currently not life-threatening.

The hospital staff expressed that they were stretched to their limits and operating at full capacity, but they were able to provide the necessary care to those in need. Family members and friends of the victims have gathered at the hospital entrance, anxiously awaiting updates on their loved ones.
The Chief Medical Officer reassured the public that all patients have been attended to and are receiving the required medical attention. The hospital continues to provide support to the victims and their families during this challenging time.
