An American TV channel have slammed Russell Martin's Rangers for their 1-0 loss to Genk on matchday one of the Europa League.
Their pundits all agreed that Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe need to cut their losses and admit they got the decision to hire the former Southampton head coach wrong, as things are only going to get worse.
Oh Hyeon-gyu scored the winner on 55 minutes at Ibrox last night, with the former Celtic striker atoning for his earlier penalty miss, as Jack Butland denied him from the spot.
Former Premier League midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker reckons it's only a matter of time before Martin is removed from his position at Ibrox.
“[Russell Martin] is hanging on by a thread. A club of Rangers’ stature should not lose to Genk.” 👀 Nigel Reo-Coker, @Nicocantor1, @CharlieDavies9 and @_poppymiller share their thoughts on Rangers’ display tonight and what it means for Russell Martin 🔵 pic.twitter.com/di5pQ6bwWa

He said: "I don't see anymore road left for him [Martin]. He's hanging on by a thread.
"A club of Rangers' stature should not Genk tonight.
"Yes, they did play with 10 men and they showed a bit more fight and character towards the second half, trying to get back into it, but they should've done that from the start and we didn't see it.
"Genk actually had the better chances when it was all square at 11 vs 11 in the game.
"It's hard to take any positivity from this game from a Rangers perspective. I think he's hanging on by a thread."
Charlie Davies added: "It's almost as if they got better with 10 men because they had to play with that intensity, and it was for the fans.
"You can tell there's no identity with this squad, there's not a good philosophy with this squad.
"If there's ever a moment to move on from a manager at such an early tenure, it's now."
Fellow pundit Nico Cantor said: "We talked about it pre-game, how an administration that backs you, regardless of the adverse results, you're going to get the time to do what you want.
"But you can't see any forward progress. You can't see an idea coming together despite the man disadvantage.
"So, all the signs seem to be pointing towards Rangers needing to move on from Russell Martin.
"From an ownership perspective at Rangers, it's such a dose of humility to admit 'hey, we got it wrong'.
"If Bayer Leverkusen, one of the biggest teams in Germany, can do that after two matchdays, saying 'hey, we got it wrong with [Erik] Ten Hag,] they were they first ones to admit that the situation was dire and they had to move on.
"I wonder the timeline of Rangers, we were talking about if off-air Nige, since they've gone into administration, this feels like the lowest point since."
Davies came back in: "It's the worst start in the club's history. It doesn't get worse than this."

The question was then put to Reo-Coker by presenter Poppy Miller about it being Rangers' lowest ebb since their financial destruction in 2012.
He responded: "I believe so. Sometimes you have to look beyond the result.
"Rangers right now are not even getting the results, and the performances are not getting better.
"There is no identity. They want to play out from the back sometimes, they're not getting the results.
"The players look like they have no idea what they're doing.
"It's an absolute mess, and I think that the ownership have to put up their hands to say 'we made the wrong decision,' and they'll have to move on from it.
"To me, this seems like it's only going to get worse."
Davies: "When you watch a team play, and you take away the results, are you seeing exciting passages of play? Are you seeing certain roles that players have made their own where you're saying 'man, this team really gives us hope and they can challenge Celtic'?
"This is just a disaster, all round."
