Plans to construct an American-style diner just off a busy Kilmarnock road have been scrapped.
The restaurant proposals that were submitted for Western Road in April would've seen 76 covers planned at the eaterie.
Lakeside Landscapes were behind the bid, which included plans to create a car park with 35 spaces.
East Ayrshire Council planners confirmed this week that blueprints have been withdrawn by the applicant.
The landscaping firm currently uses the site as a yard and proposals did show that a garden centre display would've been created along with a new office and garage.
